Boston Marathon 2010 Results –
In case you missed the Boston Marathon 2010 yesterday, we
have the top 10 race results for both the men and the women.
The Boston Marathon that took place yesterday was the 114th
Boston Marathon. If you’re from Boston, like I am,
then you would know that this day is treated like a holiday.
Unfortunately, I was working so I didn’t get to enjoy
it like most people. Though, I know someone who actually
participated in the race and he finished with a pretty good
time. Unfortunately, it wasn’t in the top 10 spots.
Also, this is the first time that I found out how much money
you could winning by finishing in the top 10. It breaks
down similar to finishing in the final table in a poker
tournament!

and Locals in Boston
The 114th Boston Marathon saw 3 SudburyRocks!! members
plus 3 others from the area compete on the famous Hopkinton
to Boston course. Rocks!! members were Russell Wood (Timmins),
Klaus Ehrhardt (Espanola) and Steve Fessenden (Sudbury).
I believe all the Rocks!! have run the event before but
it was a new experience for 3 local ladies. Kandis Stoughton
(Sudbury), Sharon Hall (Hanmer) and Penny Bois (Espanola)
got their initiation into the 'Big Show' when they toed
the line Monday morning at 10:30 and started down the
first hill out of Hopkinton. A few hours later they had
medals around their necks and were bathing in the glory
of success.

full marathon and 1K free kids event. Want to run as
a group? Sign up for the Marathon Team Relay with up

to run or walk this year? We
welcome new volunteers!
A new change
to 2010 is our On The Rocks Pasta.
We have moved our Pasta Dinner to a new location, Respect
is Burning, where you will enjoy a truly
one-of-a-kind experience with rustic Italian soul food.
With tickets only $25 each, you will get a fabulous
dining experience at one of Sudbury’s best restaurants.
While there, enjoy the music of singer/songwriter Angie
Nussey. Raised in the Sudbury area, Angie began playing
piano and writing songs at the age of 7. Now at 31 years
of age, with eight years of creating, releasing, and
touring, five full length albums, and a wealth of experiences
to draw from, this boldly honest songwriter solidly
prepares to release her most prized possession through
music: Herself. Look for "Little Tragedies"
in stores and online. Tickets can be purchased through

To all of our local
Boston runners!! You are amazing!!
We are currently looking for instructors and pacers
for our May 31st clinics. Please contact me if you
are interested in leading a group.
Or
Join one of our great clinics for the low price of
69.99$ for a 10-18 week session. This includes your
clinic night during the week and guided practices
Wednesday at 6pm and Sunday at 830am. Included in
your membership is a great running room t-shirt, manual,
