Run Club Update

Hi there!

I hope everybody is doing well with our sudden (and not so welcome) change to negative temperatures! Looking for a way to warm up? Drop by the store on Wednesday at 6 pm and Sunday morning at 8:30 am for our walk and run club - we have a group for every speed and distance, so drop on by.

We have a few great races coming up; if you're heading down south anytime soon, be sure to keep these in mind:

Freedom to Move for Dystonia 5km
On Sunday June 1 at 11:00am, the 3rd annual Freedom to Move for Dystonia 5km will be held in High Park. This is a fun race - there are technical shirts for the first 250 registrants, great post run food and cool draw prizes and a challenging course to test your fitness level. Register on line at www.events.runningroom.com/site/?raceId=3615 or on race day for $30.
It is a worthy cause and a family friendly event so encourage your friends and family to participate. All kids (13 and under) only pay $10.

Mercedes-Benz Classic Mile 2008
Date: Saturday, June 14th
Cambridge Ontario.
Take part in a scenic 5k run along the historic Grand River. Exciting stadium finish with live music. Following the 5k, cheer on some of the world's best runners as they try to break the 4:00 mile and win the keys to a Mercedes-Benz!
