Tessa Bonhomme, honourary chair for the Sudbury Run site of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure and several students from Churchill Public School painted shoes to answer the “Who are you running for” question. Bonhomme announced that, should she and her partner, David Pelletier, win this year's Battle of the Blades competition, her portion of the winnings will be donated to this local event.)
